On January 29, 2019, DLC released the first draft of Technical Specification V5.0.

The V5.0 version is a very important version of DLC SSL. It pays more attention to the quality of LED lighting - the quality and controllability of light, rather than pure "light effects."
According to the DLC schedule, the official version will be released by the end of 2019 and will be implemented in January 2020.
